The parameters in this dialog let you control the image GnomeCam
displays.
If the server from which GnomeCam downloads the image is
extremely well-behaved and reports an expiration date for the image,
GnomeCam will heed the expiration date and download the image at its
next expiration. If no expiration date is reported, GnomeCam will
wait "Max Timeout" seconds before re-contacting the server.
The "Min Timeout" parameter prevents GnomeCam from
generating too much activity if the web cam server is extremely poorly
behaved (expiration dates are screwed up) or if you just don't need
updates as often as the cam server provides them.
- Cam URL: The URL to be contacted to retrieve the webcam image.
This URL should return an image of a type that GDK Pixbuf knows
about. This includes GIF, JPEG, and PNG, among others.
- Browse URL: An URL to browse when the GnomeCam applet is
left-clicked with the mouse. This can be an HTML page which contains the
webcam image, a larger version of the webcam image, or anything else.
(If this is blank, Cam URL will be used.)
- Tooltip: A title for the webcam image, to be displayed in the
tooltip that pops up when the mouse hovers over the GnomeCam applet.
- Min timeout: The minimum time GnomeCam will wait before
re-contacting the server and downloading the latest image, in seconds.
- Max timeout: The maximum time GnomeCam will wait before
re-contacting the server and downloading the latest image, in seconds.
(If max < min, then max is ignored.)
